When the Constitution was created by our Founding Fathers in the late 1700's there were 13 Colonies and 2 millions people.  It took a long time for the country to expand and now in the 30 years that Ive been alive we have hit the 300 million mark and quickly populating.  Inflation has caused living cost per year alone to be the same that one individual could have lived on for a lifetime 100 years ago.  Things were simple therefore life was simple.  In order to provide for everyone in this country, the people who work have a cut taken from them and it is dispursed to the "poor." There is no way to keep up with jobs for as many people there are and theres no end in sight.  Unemployment rates will remain that same because government assistance is the same as someone who works 40 hours a week at minimum wage. Why would that person look for a job making the same amount of money doing much more work. One person cannot run this country because it is too divided and its just a battle of who has the better ideas instead of working together to solve the problem.  Anyone can point out a problem, solving it becomes the challenge.  Technology and greed are forcing people to buy things we cant afford.  Many older generations (people born in the 30s-40s) do have money because when they were making money in their prime they didnt have 5 TVs, smart phones, ipads, 3 family cars, 20 department stores credit cards with thousands of dollars worth of credit limits.  They bought things according to their bank account and you know what, they were happy.  Life was simple!  Look where greed has got us...trillions of dollars in debt! TRILIONS??? can we really even wrap our heads around that?? 1 trillion dollars would be 100 million dollars a year for 10 THOUSAND YEARS!! There is no end in sight, but what you can do is live simple.  "QUIT SPENDING" is a simple motto and very attainable because EVERYONE can take part.  Black Friday has taken over Thanksgiving, a time for spending with family and loved ones but instead stores open up and people go frantic buying things.  WE are spending money insteading of spending time with family.  How ironic is it that a day for being thankful is followed by the biggest spending day.......Live simple, quit spending!
